About us

The Rotary Club of Nairn has been in existence since 1947 and forms an active part of District 1010 and an integral part of Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) and Rotary International.

We engage in a number of charitable fund-raising events throughout the year.  The funds raised are used to support a number of local and international charitable causes.  We also provide practical support to the community in various ways, including: marshalling at events, carol singing in local care homes and organising youth competitions.  In addition, most of our members volunteer in various capacities in the community.

Nairn Rotary Club meets over lunch on Tuesdays, Meetings are at the Muthu Newton Hotel in Nairn, just off the A96, at 12.30 for 13.00.

We are always looking for new members so please contact us if you feel this is something which might interest you.

Nairn is fortunate to be blessed with a drier climate than most other areas in Scotland. Weather statistics show that Nairn has mire hours of sunshine between January to March than Kew Gardens! This enables many members to enjoy the two championship golf courses in the toen, Nairn Dunbar and Nairn Golf Club. If you are here for golf or just to enjoy the beaches or the great facilities of the town, please join us for our regularl meetings and social events. You will be made most welcome.

If you want to apply for funding from the Club, please complete our application form. Rotary_Funding_Application_Form_2022.docx  and submit it by email to the Secretary - details on the form. Guidelines for applications: Guidelines_for_Charitable_Donations_and_Activities.doc
